At the age of 38 I decided to finally tackle my fear of horses and was recommended Becky's school. Becky and the horse she allocated to me, a beauty called Apache were so patient with me. I really appreciated that Becky did not just teach me the technique of riding and how to care for a horse but she also explained to me the signals horses give that I should look out for as in: Is the horse comfortable or nervous, etc...

I rode with Becky for over 11 years. She helped me build trust and confidence not only in my horse, but in myself as well. Her passionate dedication to my success allowed me to well exceed my own expectations, and reach riding abilities I never thought possible. Her training abilities extend far beyond a horse trainer, she is truly talented in working with you and your horse. She is great with people of all ages and riding levels. I would trust no one else to teach my boyfriend’s younger sister, whose transformation was amazing to watch, from terrified of horses to, in less than twenty minutes, trotting solo around the arena with a contagious grin across her face.
My daughter has been riding with Becky for the past five years. She has taught my daughter how to barrel race, horse and equipment safety, but most importantly Becky taught her the importance of respecting the horse. As a family, we've grown to respect and admire Becky's passion for horses and working with children.
My son has been taking lessons from Becky for more than a year.
Becky does more than just teach you how to ride. She teaches you about horse safety, how to saddle, groom and feed the horses. Becky also makes sure the kids are knowledgable about the types of horses they are riding. The kids listen, absorb and learn while having fun. Becky makes the entire riding experience enjoyable for everyone.
By doing so she managed to calm my anxiety attacks to the point that I actually thoroughly enjoyed riding and being confident while doing so. I am so grateful that she agreed to teach me. Thanks to her and to Apache, I finally get why people are so passionate about horseriding! Because I am now, too.
