Star Cleaners has ALWAYS done an excellent job on everything I have brought there. When you have a large business like they do sometimes you make a little boo boo but you generally just hear about the complaints. People nowadays are quick to gripe and complain and slow to compliment anyone that is the new generation. However folk's Star Cleaners does an excellent job and the employees are always helpful, quick and courteous.

I took in two sheepskins for dry cleaning that my husband bought in New Zealand. They had been dry cleaned several times before by other cleaners without a problem and had come out beautifully. When I took them to Star Cleaners, I had to sign a release that they would not be held responsible and that should have been a warning, but since they had been dry cleaned in the past, I assumed these people would know how to do it. When I picked them up, they were in pieces, dried out and completely ruined. I asked to speak to the owner, but she wasn't there. I called back later that day and asked to speak to the owner but was told that again, she wasn't there. I left a message that she should call me, as I wanted to know what went wrong. She didn't call back that day or the next, so I called back the following day. Was told the owner was out of town and that she had said I should bring the sheepskins back and they would re-clean them. As they are now just many pieces of dried up fur and skin, this is a ridiculous proposition. I asked if they would agree to compensate me, and was told that they would not because I had signed a release. This is not a professionally run business and I do not recommend it. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
